WE'RE NEW...
Newly constructed accommodations sleep up to 12 guests who have exclusive use of our studio during their stay. Our Studio can host a variety of workshops and can also be a venue for small celebrations.
The facility has 6 guest rooms, a workshop studio, self-serve kitchen, kitchenette, lounge and great room. All the rooms are on one level, no need to navigate any stairs.
Parking is on site. An electrical vehicle charger will be accessible to guests as well.

Linda Gumz, proprietor and chief crafter of 8th and East, is a talented quiltmaker, scrapbooker, seamstress, wordworker, gardener...Well, you get the idea.
As a seasoned crafter, she has discovered the magic of gathering gals for an intentional getaway and is building 8th and East to be a destination retreat to reboot creativity, upskill your arts and crafts or learn anew.
Connect with your circle of friends and weave your weekends into special memories. 8th and East is the ideal and idyllic retreat location, walking distance to shopping and sightseeing in historic downtown Baraboo, Wisconsin. Our workshops and classes can shape your stay or you can plan your own multi-day crafting getaway and even bring your own instructor. Or just sample crafting by partaking in classes and workshops that will be offered by Linda and other seasoned instructors.
